Good morning, Bruin fans!

Let's take a quick look at some of the news which came out over the weekend. Let's start with some basketball.

Basketball Recruiting

Josh Gerson with Scout/BRO has some video highlights of Bruin basketball commit Alonzo Ball.

Football Recruiting

In football recruiting, Greg Biggins of Scout/BRO writes that 4-star ATH Brandon Burton will unofficially visit UCLA and speaks with Coach Meat "almost every day".

Meanwhile, 247Sports.com has an article looking at the quality of both UCLA's and Stanford's recruiting classes.

Training Camp Day 7

Having taken a spin around What's Bruin, it's Day 7 of Training Camp in San Bernardino and we are now only nineteen days away from opening kickoff versus the University of Virginia. Today features another two-a-day with practices scheduled for 8:30 am and 5:45 pm. That could certainly change based on the weather like things did on Saturday, but the temperatures should be better than over the weekend. It should be in the upper seventies to the mid-eighties during the morning session and the afternoon session should be in the low-to-mid-nineties.

The players should be well rested after having yesterday off and spending some time at Bruin Woods. This is our open thread for today's practice. For anyone who get out to CSUSB, please share your observations and thoughts here, and feel free to write up any extended thoughts or observations later on as a fanpost. You can tweet pictures to us @Bruinnation, write a fanpost with words and/or photos/video, or share them in a thread or Spaulding Report. This is our community and the more we each share the better.
