Texas A&M Suspends Two Coaches Following Sexist “Chalk Talk For Women”

Two Texas A&M assistant football coaches have been suspended for making a sexist presentation at an event intended to educate female fans about football.

Texas A&M suspended two assistant football coaches today without pay for two weeks following a sexist presentation during an event which was billed as "Chalk Talk For Women" and was aimed at educating female fans about football.

The coaches who made the sexist presentation were Jeff Banks and Jim Turner. Banks is Special Teams Coordinator/Tight Ends coach while Turner coaches the offensive line.

Not only did the slides of the presentation contain inappropriate sexual humor, but the event also gave attendees a parody version of the Aggie War Hymn. According to Scout’s report, the parody version went like this:

We are Aggie women

We are filled with estrogen

Hullabaloo, canek, canek, and back again

Maroon & white are the colors we love

We are putting down our dish towels

And taking off our gloves

No more Lysol or Cascade

We want to score Touchdowns

And walk in the parade

We are Aggie women & this is our song

Come on...bring it more thong

Hullabaloo..caneck..caneck..and so on’s Anwar Richardson tweeted out the pictures he received from the event.

It appears as though the suspensions will start immediately, meaning that the coaches will likely miss the start of Fall Camp, but it will have no effect on the A&M coaching staff when Bruins visit College Station to start the season on September 3rd.

Go Bruins.
