UCLA Football: Fall Camp Schedule Released With Surprising News

Late this afternoon, UCLA Football released the Fall Camp schedule. But, the dates themselves aren’t what Bruin fans will be happy about.

Since Spring Practice in April, Coach Mora has been saying that Fall Camp would have to be closed because there isn’t any room to accommodate fans who want to watch practice now that the Wasserman Football Center has been built.

He reiterated that just last Wednesday at Pac-12 Media Days in Hollywood. “We can’t [open practice to the public]. There’s no room,” Mora emphasized. “When they put that building up, it took away space. So, there’s nowhere to watch practice. It’s impossible.”

Well, apparently, Jim Mora and Dan Guerrero have accomplished the impossible. They have found a way to open practices to the public.

As a result, the first two weeks of practice will be open to the public. The Athletic Department has reserved space on the top level of Lot 8 where fans will be able to watch practice each day.

Of course, Saturday, August 12th is still Fan Appreciation Day, where there will be numerous activites for fans to enjoy in Lot 8 and season ticket holders will be invited to a special reception at the Luskin Conference Center during the practice.

All practices will be held at Spaulding Field on the UCLA campus.
