The UCLA Bruins Fan Confidence football poll rose again this week to a new season high.
After UCLA’s third straight win over the weekend, the FanPulse poll jumped from 51.8% nearly 20 full points to 71.7%.

Meanwhile, hope does spring eternal in basketball, too. The initial UCLA Bruins Fan Confidence basketball poll started off at 91.4% as Bruin fans are hopeful for a new direction for the program under new head coach Mick Cronin.

The Bruins Nation FanPulse is a survey of more than 100 Bruins Nation readers who have agreed to take a weekly survey on college football. I want to encourage our readers to have their voice heard on a weekly basis by signing up to be a part of the FanPulse.
Of course, the question about the direction of the football and basketball programs are just part of this week’s FanPulse. Another part is the Top 25 where fans are asked to rank the top 25 college football teams.
So, this week, we have the tenth Bruins Nation Top 25 poll along with the SB Nation national Top 25 poll. The LSU Tigers are now #1 in both the Bruins Nation and the SB Nation national polls. The Alabama Crimson Tide slipped to two in the BN Top 25. The Ohio State Buckeyes remain #3 in both polls and the Clemson Tigers round out the Top Four. The Penn State Nittany Lions are fifth in both polls.
As far as the Pac-12 goes, Utah remained ranked ninth in the BN poll, but jumped to eighth in the SB Nation national poll while Oregon is now ranked eighth in the BN poll and nith in the SB Nation national poll. They are the only two Pac-12 schools ranked in either poll.
Let’s look at both polls.
