Only three of ten UCLA Bruins fans have confidence that the Bruin football program is moving in the right direction in the latest FanPulse confidence poll.
After last week’s win over Washington State, fan confidence had skyrocketed to a season-high 45.6%. One-third of that support has now evaporated following Saturday’s loss to Arizona and it now sits at 29.2%.

The Bruins Nation FanPulse is a survey of more than 100 Bruins Nation readers who have agreed to take a weekly survey on college football. I want to encourage our readers to have their voice heard on a weekly basis by signing up to be a part of the FanPulse.
Of course, the question about the direction of the program is just one part of this week’s FanPulse. The other part is the Top 25 where fans are asked to rank the top 25 college football teams.
So, this week, we have the fifth Bruins Nation Top 25 poll along with the SB Nation national Top 25 poll. There’s a new number one in both polls as the Alabama Crimson Tide have taken over the top spot after the Clemson Tigers had a close call against the North Carolina Tar Heels. In fact, Bruin fans dropped Clemson to #3 behind the Ohio State Buckeyes while national voters have the Buckeyes ranked fourth.
As far as Pac-12 schools go, Bruin fans have dropped UC Berkeley more than the Bears fell in the national poll. The national poll still has Southern Cal ranked while UCLA fans dropped them out of the BN Top 25.
Let’s take a look at both polls.
