The fourth day of UCLA Fall Practice is in the books. After the first two-a-day session of the Fall, the Bruins are taking today off.
As OCbruin714 fanshotted last night, Malcolm Jones has lost his appeal to the NCAA seeking to have his 2012 season counted as redshirt-eligible. Recall that Malcolm played in last season's opener @ Rice, and decided to leave the team and transfer out of UCLA soon after. After coming back to the team, he filed an appeal seeking to be able to count last season as a redshirt year, gaining an additional year of eligibility to play in 2014 - which had it been successful likely would have required him to sit out a couple of games this year or the next.
Jack Wang talked with Malcolm last night after the late practice about his failed appeal.
