The Bruins will have a little bit of relief today, as they only have to hit the practice field once today - after yesterday's two-a-day and another double session scheduled for tomorrow and again on Friday.
Unfortunately for the players, the relief does not extend to the weather. The forecast calls for a high of 95 degrees this afternoon, with a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of San Bernardino County. So far I have not seen any indication that the storm warning has affected the Cal State campus where UCLA is practicing, but with the heat this afternoon the team might just wish that a storm would come in and wash out this afternoon's session.
In this morning's Bruin Bites, I noted that Myles Jack has been named to SI's preseason All-American team, and we all have seen the attention that Brett Hundley has gotten. But Ryan Kartje has noted another Bruin who he thinks is getting overlooked.
Looking at various All-Pac-12 preseason teams & not even a peep about Fabian Moreau. I'd bet the farm that won't be the case in a few months

Kartje's statement is not without some background or support. Jack Wang has noted Coach Mora's belief that Fabian is a future NFL CB with the potential to be an All-American for the Bruins, and Kevin Gemmell profiled him as UCLA's breakout player of the spring for ESPN's Pac-12 blog
