How to Watch Oklahoma Sooners at UCLA Bruins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More

The Bruins will host the Sooners in primetime tomorrow evening at the Rose Bowl.

NCAA Football: UCLA at Oklahoma
The Bruin defense will need to be better prepared to defend CeeDee Lamb if UCLA hopes to beat Oklahoma.

Is it Week Three already? Perhaps the best thing about the 2019 UCLA Bruins college football season so far is that it seems to be flying by which is remarkable considering how the Bruins have played in the first two weeks of the season.

Maybe it’s because UCLA football feels more irrelevant than ever?

You watch for three hours with an expected result and, when that happens, you go back to the business of your life. I don’t know.

Something else I may not know is if there are any keys to the game this week for UCLA. Let me take a stab at a few.

Keys to the Game

1. Actually rush the passer.
If the Bruins have any hope to win, actually having something resembling a pass rush will likely be crucial.

2. Contain Jalen Hurts.
This one seems easy on paper. The Bruin defense needs to maintain outside contain to keep the Sooners quarterback from running all over the field. It might even help the Bruins if they actually assign a middle linebacker to key on Hurts.

3. Drink heavily at the tailgate.
Trust me, it will help numb the pain. Oh, wait. This is supposed to be keys to WINNING the game. Not keys for fans to survive this game.

3. Let Austin Burton play as much as possible.
If Jalen Hurts destroys the Bruin defense, maybe Sooner Coach Lincoln Riley will take out Hurts and the Oklahoma first-string when the game gets out of reach. This should result in Chip Kelly putting in his second string and actually giving Austin Burton some playing time to show what he can do and, hopefully, result in Dorian Thompson-Robinson going to the bench the rest of the season.

Hey, one can hope you know.
