How to Watch San Diego State Aztecs at UCLA Bruins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More

Tomorrow, the UCLA Bruins host the San Diego State Aztecs in the 2019 home opener at the Rose Bowl. While all Bruin fans can admit the team looked bad last week, the question on everyone’s mind is: How much improvement can UCLA make from last week to this week?

I think the answer to that question may lie in this week’s three keys to the game.

Keys to the Game

1. Can the Bruins move the ball on the ground?
Demetric Felton did an admirable job at running back last week for a receiver, but Bruin fans want to see Joshua Kelley in the backfield and they want the offensive line to open holes that Kelley can run through.

2. Will Dorian Thompson-Robinson play the entire game?
Even if Dorian Thompson-Robinson hadn’t single-handedly given away last week’s game, this should be a good opportunity to plan to get Austin Burton some playing time so that he has gotten his feet wet if he is needed later on in the year. So, on one hand, DTR could leave the game early if the Bruins are up big. On the other, could Chip Kelly turn to Burton if DTR plays like last week?

3. Can the Bruin defense stop the Aztec running backs?
If San Diego is loaded anywhere, it’s at running back. It’s no secret that the Aztecs will look to get the ground game going. Will the Bruins be prepared to stop it?
