How to Watch Washington Huskies at UCLA Bruins: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More

The Bruins welcome the Huskies to the Rose Bowl in the Pac-12 home opener.

NCAA Football: UCLA at Washington Joe Nicholson-USA TODAY Sports

After last Friday’s loss to the Colorado Buffaloes, there’s been a lot of debate about the rest of the season for UCLA football. Today, the UCLA Bruins will face the Washington Huskies in the Bruins’ Pac-12 home opener. It’s the first game of the rest of the season after last week’s road game.

Can Chip Kelly do something to finally get the Bruins into the win column? Will he start Wilton Speight or Dorian Thompson-Robinson? Will the offense finally start running on all cylinders?

We’ll get the answers to these questions later this afternoon when the Bruins and Huskies kickoff.

Let’s look at the Keys to the Game.

Keys to the Game

  1. Quarterback Play. UCLA needs to figure out the issues at quarterback. That could be solved by benching Dorian Thompson-Robinson in favor of another guy on the roster or by Thompson-Robinson getting his act together for the first time.
  2. Keep the defense off the field. The sputtering offense had left the defense on the field for far, far too long. The offense needs to sustain multiple, long drives to cut the defense a break. Of course, this goes right back to the first key.
  3. Reduce the mistakes. This isn’t just about penalties, but getting called for fewer penalties is certainly part of this. The Bruins need to play crisper, more disciplined football. The way to do that is reducing the total number of mistakes. Of course, the first key to the game is definitely part of this.

Here’s how to watch, listen and stream this week’s game.
