UCLA Bruins at Arizona Wildcats Game Thread

Can the Bruins’ defense stop Arizona’s rushing attack?

Arizona is Jim Mora’s anti-Stanford. That’s because Mora has defeated Rich Rodriguez and the Wildcats every time the team has played them since 2012. Mora is 5-0 against RichRod.

The last time UCLA lost to the Wildcats was in Rick Neuheisel’s final season when UCLA was embarrassed 48-12 on a national TV broadcast on a Thursday night and, to make matters worse, the Bruin players actually started a fight during the game.

But, both Mora and RichRod are on the hot seat heading into this game and the loser’s seat will only get hotter.

Game Time Weather Forecast

It looks like it’s going to be a warm night in the desert. It should be clear and 88 degrees at kickoff.

By halftime, look for the temperature to drop to about 82 and it should drop a few more degrees into the upper-70s in the second half.

The good news for tonight’s game is that this week’s game is not on ESPN. That means that Mark Jones and Rod Gilmore won’t be around to mispronounce the names of the players. Instead, we get Roxy Bernstein and Anthony Herron.
