The Bruins look to make it two wins in a row when they take on the Wildcats for Homecoming.

It. Is. Time.

The time for talking is over. Today, the UCLA Bruins host the Arizona Wildcats for a Homecoming showdown, in a game that might not have Pac-12 implications, but is, nonetheless, a major game in the ultimate trajectory of the Bruins’ season. A win over a reeling Wildcats team can solidify the progress made in the past few weeks, while a loss in front of the Homecoming crowd could again cause fans to lose faith in the program. It feels a tad hyperbolic to say this is a must-win game, but, in a lot of ways, it truly is.

There are a lot of smaller stories at play in this game as well. For example, the last time Kevin Sumlin and Noel Mazzone were at the Rose Bowl, they were watching Josh Rosen orchestrate a miraculous 34-point comeback over the final 18 minutes of play to lead the Bruins over Texas A&M. You also have the Bruins again facing a backup quarterback, which had been a particular bugaboo for them over the years.

So, I hope you all are prepared, whether you’re at home getting comfortable on your couch, or like me tailgating and probably watching the Dodgers (I’m writing this in advance, who knows what is even going on at this point?!?), because it’s time for UCLA football.

Game Time Weather Forecast

Oh, look at that, another beautiful day in the Arroyo Seco.

The temperature for game time is currently forecast to be around 77°, with very light cloud cover (it will be night so this really doesn’t matter) and slight winds. The temperature is predicted to drop slightly as the game progresses, with an ending temperature that will probably be around 70°. Humidity throughout the game should sit around 30-35%.
