Three weeks ago, I wrote:
In years past, we always feared the “trap game.” Maybe, it was because Jim Mora could never completely keep his team focused on UCLA’s lesser opponents. With the Bruins off to an 0-4 start, there won’t be any trap games for us this season.
However, there is a chance that the Bruins become the trap game for other teams. Given Washington’s high ranking, today may have the chance of becoming the Huskies’ trap game.
Of course, the same can be said for tonight’s game against the Utah Utes. Again, UCLA has a chance to upend a team that appears on paper to be a much better team.
But, after the Utes won a big game last week against Southern Cal, Utah would appear to be in a position to come out a little flat tonight. When you mix that in with a little #Pac12AfterDark and the UCLA Bruins could find themselves in a first place tie after tonight’s game.
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.
Game Time Weather Forecast
It’s going to be another Chamber of Commerce day today and tonight in Pasadena.
At kickoff, it should be mostly sunny with a temperature of about 77° with a relative humidity of just 36%. That’s about as perfect as you can get this time of year.
The temperature should drop a little as the game progresses. Look for it to be about 73° at halftime and expect it to drop another few degrees in the second half. By the time the fourth quarter rolls around, it should be about 71°.
