Washington Huskies at UCLA Bruins Game Thread

The Huskies visit the Bruins at the Rose Bowl tonight for the first time since 2013.

In years past, we always feared the “trap game.” Maybe, it was because Jim Mora could never completely keep his team focused on UCLA’s lesser opponents. With the Bruins off to an 0-4 start, there won’t be any trap games for us this season.

However, there is a chance that the Bruins become the trap game for other teams. Given Washington’s high ranking, today may have the chance of becoming the Huskies’ trap game.

That said, I think there’s zero chance of that happening with freshman quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson on the field. But, if Chip Kelly opts to start a different quarterback, all bets are off.

After all, it is a night game, which means that #Pac12AfterDark could factor in. We’ll see....

Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.

Game Time Weather Forecast

It’s going to be another Chamber of Commerce day today in Pasadena.

At kickoff, it should be mostly sunny with a temperature of about 74° with a relative humidity of 58%. That’s about as perfect as you can get this time of year.

The temperature should drop a little as the game progresses. Look for it to be about 70° at halftime and expect it to drop another few degrees in the second half. By the time the fourth quarter rolls around, it should be about 67°.
