Southern Cal Trojans at UCLA Bruins Game Thread

Can the Bruins keep the Trojans from going to a bowl game this season?

Well, who would have thunk it?

Before the season started, Southern Cal was picked to win the Pac-12 South and, while UCLA was predicted to have an ok year, I don’t think many people foresaw that the Bruins would be entering this game with just a 2-8 record. As it stands, 13 losses between the two teams is the poorest season ever.

How bad has it been for Southern Cal? Well, many seem to think that he needs to win today to save his job. To a degree, I understand it. It seems unlikely that the Trojans will be able to beat #3 Notre Dame next week, even if the game is played at the Mausoleum. So, that makes today’s game a must-win if Helton wants to keep Southern Cal’s bowl hopes alive.

On the other hand, Chip Kelly’s guys have a chance to play the spoiler. It has certainly been one of those years where beating $c would make the entire season to a successful one in the eyes of many Bruin fans.

Game Time Weather Forecast

It’s going to be another Chamber of Commerce day in Pasadena today. That’s because the forecast for kickoff is for it to be sunny with a temperature of about 70° with a relative humidity of about 40%.

Some clouds may be move in during the course of the game to make it partly cloudy.

Look for the temperature to stay pretty steady for most of the game. The temperature will peak for the day at 71°, probably around the end of the first quarter, and it will dip below 70° in the second half. By the time the fourth quarter rolls around, it should be partly cloudy and about 68°.
