UCLA Bruins at Stanford Cardinal Game Thread

The Bruins head to Northern California for a game against the Cardinal.

UCLA can use the rushing game for short yardage tonight but, if Chip Kelly wants to win, he won’t try to force the run.

While we don’t know whether Austin Burton or Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start at quarterback tonight for the Bruins, but that isn’t the biggest question facing UCLA tonight.

The biggest question facing UCLA is: How stubborn will Chip Kelly be offensively?

If Chip insists on forcing the rushing attack tonight, the Bruins will lose. On the other hand, if Kelly opts to attack the Stanford secondary with a lot of passing, the Bruins may actually snap their eleven-game losing streak to the Cardinal.

Game Time Weather Forecast

It should be a perfect night for football in Palo Alto. It will be sunny with the temperature at kickoff a comfortable 64° degrees. Sunset will occur at 6:29 pm this evening, probably right around the end of the first quarter. It will remain clear for the rest of the game after the sun goes down. Look for the temperature to drop to about 60° at halftime.

It will continue to cool off a little during the second half and should be in the upper 50s by the end of the game.
