Maybe it’s me, but it seems like the college football offseason gets longer and longer each year. Perhaps that has to do with wanting to see the Bruins compete for a national championship or even a Pac-12 title that I can’t wait for September to get here so the season can start again.
Well, as they typically say with baseball, hope springs eternal!
To be sure, every Bruin fan is hoping to see significant improvements from this year’s team as the Chip Kelly era enters Year Two. Today is the first opportunity since Spring Practice that Bruin fans will be able to see what kind of progress the team has made and measure it against a good football team which went 11-2 last season.
Will the UCLA Bruins 101st season finally be the year that the preseason hype and all the talk about how the UCLA team has grown actually be realized? Or, will 2019 be added to the already long list of disappointing Bruin seasons?
At this point, no one knows, but tonight’s game will give us our first of twelve snapshots.
Let’s look at the game time weather forecast.
Game Time Weather Forecast
The weather forecast looks good for today’s game. It should be sunny and a warm 80° at kickoff.
By halftime, look for the temperature to drop into the mid-70s and it should drop a few more degrees into the low 70s by the end of the game.
