Can UCLA beat Kentucky on a neutral court?

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-South Regional-Kentucky vs UCLA
Thomas Welsh needs to have a big game in order for UCLA to beat Kentucky.
Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

UCLA has lost the last two times they played Kentucky on a neutral court. Today, they play them for the fifth time since 2014-15 and the third time on a neutral court when the teams meet in the CBS Sports Classic.

And, of course, UCLA hasn’t looked very good in its last three games.

The Bruins have been turning the ball over far too much and will need to get that under control if they want to win today. In fact, if Kentucky’s biggest weakness has also been turnovers. So, whichever team wins the turnover battle today will likely win the game.

Another key for the Bruins is that they need to feed the beast...umm...I mean...Thomas Welsh. But it is true. Welsh has been a beast against Kentucky and he needs to be one again today if UCLA expects to win.
