Will Thomas Welsh be able to play tonight?
That’s probably the biggest question Bruin fans are asking heading into today’s game against the Stanford Cardinal.
The next biggest question is “Which Bruin team will show up?” Will it be the one that started off sluggishly against UC Berkeley on Thursday? Or will Steve Alford finally find a way to have his team ready to play at the outset?
My money’s probably on another sluggish start. And, if that happens, will the Bruins be able to overcome that to win a must-win home game?
I’m not particularly optimistic on that because Steve Alford is still the head coach of the Bruins and he just doesn’t seem to have a clue. He does seem to admit that on a regular basis, after all.
After Thursday night’s game against UC Berkeley, he discussed the change to the starting lineup by saying, “We decided to change things up. I’m not sure if it’s the answer....”
Of course, in his weekly press conference after the Colorado loss, he admitted that he didn’t have the answers when he said, “I don’t know what you want me to say.” And, of course, he claimed that he had no way to get Thomas Welsh shots, saying ““I don’t get him shots. It’s not me getting him shots. They don’t let me come out here [on the basketball court].”
So, will he be able to pull tonight’s game out at home or will this be the start of another losing streak?

This season, we are proud to, again, have today's audio feed for everyone who opts to use the Tune In player embedded below. For optimum results, start the audio feed then pause your DVR and sync them up together. Personally, I don’t know why anyone would want to do that tonight with Bill Walton calling the game, but I get that some of you don’t like listening to him. I think he makes the game more entertaining.
For those who don’t think like me, you can listen here on BN!
