Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors at UCLA Bruins Game Thread

Tonight, the Bruins start a series of home games that they can’t afford to lose.

Tonight, the UCLA men’s basketball team begins an important homestand. We detailed exactly why these next four games are so important yesterday in our preview of tonight’s game against the Hawai’i Rainbow Warriors.

Basically, the reason this homestand is so important is because UCLA can’t afford to lose games to inferior teams when the Pac-12 is as weak as it is this season. The fact that the Rainbow Warriors beat Utah over the weekend is one of multiple data points that show how weak the Pac-12 really is this season.

So, while it seems silly to write that a non-conference game in November is a must-win for UCLA, it kind of is a must-win game. Go figure.
