The Bruins will look to end their three-game losing streak tonight when they host Arizona at Pauley Pavilion.
As I pointed out in our game preview, tonight’s game features two teams which appear to be moving in different directions. After starting conference play with three wins, the Bruins have dropped their last three. While Murry Bartow seems to be getting his players to play with more energy than they were under Steve Alford, Bartow hasn’t been able to solve UCLA’s offensive woes or their issue with turnovers.
Meanwhile, Arizona, which was picked to finish fourth in the conference, finds themselves in a tie with Arizona State for second place, two games behind Washington.
Can the Bruins end their losing streak and beat Sean Miller and the Wildcats? Well, that will probably depend on whether they can shoot the ball better and hold onto the basketball.
