There really isn’t much to say about tonight’s game against Stanislaus State.
All I really have to say, frankly, is that it’s good to be able to watch a UCLA game tonight from the comfort of my couch.
That’s because early this morning the Easy Fire broke out a few miles from my home and, when my wife and I left for work this morning, we had no idea whether we’d have a home to come back to tonight.
The good news is that the Ventura County firefighters did a heck of a job keeping the fire on the north side of Madera Rd., allowing us to come back to our home and making it possible to watch tonight’s UCLA Bruins game from my couch.
I expect tonight to be an absolute blowout, mostly because the Bruins are playing a Division II opponent in Stanislaus State, but that doesn’t dampen my enthusiasm to watch the start of the Mick Cronin era, even if it’s an unofficial state because tonight’s game is an exhibition game.
After the Alford era, which went on far too long, how could anyone not feel good about where the program is headed?
One last thing....If you’ve been participating in the weekly BruinsNation FanPulse, we’ll be adding a question about basketball this week! If you’re not already signed up for the BN FanPulse, you can sign up now!
And, if you’re only a fan of UCLA men’s basketball and don’t want to answer the football stuff, you can just skip through to the basketball stuff. So, if you’re not signed up, you need to be! That’s all for now, except...
Go Bruins!!!
