NCAA Basketball: Notre Dame at UCLA

Notre Dame is probably UCLA’s biggest non-conference basketball rival. Today, the teams renew their rivalry in South Bend at the Purcell Pavilion. This afternoon’s game is the 50th meeting between the teams and the Bruins lead the series, 29-20.

There isn’t much more to be said...except for the fact that Digger is STILL a wimp!

Today’s game will be a tough game for this year’s Bruins. Hopefully, they can put together strong defense and find a way to stop the Irish from shooting a lot of threes. It will be a good measurement of where this young team is in its growth stage.

It won’t be a final indicator of whether or not they can make the NCAA Tournament, but a win in this game can certainly help the team’s chances to dance in March.
