UCLA Bruins at UC Berkeley Golden Bears Game Thread

Will the Bruins have some fight against the worst team in the Pac-12?

NCAA Basketball: California at UCLA Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Well, after one of the worst collapses in UCLA basketball history, we’ll find out tonight if the Bruins are able to bounce back from something like that.

There’s no doubt that the Bruins have to be happy that tonight’s game is against UC Berkeley instead of Washington. It should mean that the Bruins will win tonight’s game. There’s no reason they shouldn’t. The Golden Bears are the worst team in a conference filled with bad teams. They haven’t won a conference game all year, but tonight’s game is at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley. So, that will make it a little more difficult than if the game was home in Westwood.

But, it’s also an important game.

UCLA would still like to finish in the top four in the Pac-12 standings so that they don’t have to play a First Round game on Wednesday in the Pac-12 Tournament. Right now, UCLA is two games out of being tied for second. Every game counts and they can’t afford a letdown tonight.
