This afternoon, the UCLA Bruins will look to do something no team has done so far this season: Beat the Washington Huskies at home. UCLA will also look to become the first Pac-12 team to beat the Huskies as well.
There’s almost no doubt that it will be tough to do, but the Bruins have been playing better of late. If UCLA has an advantage against Washington, it’s the same advantage they had against both Arizona last weekend and Washington State on Wednesday: their size.
Can UCLA use their size advantage to control the boards and, ultimately, to beat the Huskies?
I’m not so sure, especially given the Bruins penchant for turning the ball over, but the Huskies seem to turn the ball almost as much as UCLA. So, it could end up being a very sloppy game from both teams.
