UCLA Bruins at Utah Utes Game Thread

It’s been a really long three months since Steve Alford was fired, but the last Pac-12 regular season game is finally upon us.

NCAA Basketball: Utah at UCLA Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

It has seemed like forever, but the final regular season game of the year is upon us. Of course, UCLA needs a win to try to get a first round bye in next week’s Pac-12 Tournament, but, after Thursday’s disastrous loss to Colorado, I don’t think any self-respecting Bruin fan is expecting a win this afternoon when the Bruins face the Utes at 4 pm PT.

In all likelihood, today’s game is significant simply because, after forty minutes of basketball today, the page on the calendar turns from the regular season to the postseason, which means this year’s nightmare will be over soon and, hopefully, the search committee will land a top notch coach to rebuild the program.
