Game Thread, Preview and How to Watch: UCLA Bruins at Southern Cal Trojans

The Bruins wrap up the regular season with a game against their crosstown rivals this afternoon.

NCAA Basketball: Southern California at UCLA Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

This afternoon, the UCLA Bruins men’s basketball team concludes the regular season when they visit the Galen Center to play crosstown rival Southern Cal. Tip-off is set for 12:15 pm PT on CBS.

Since these teams met back at the beginning of January, they’ve both played good basketball. In fact, the difference in their conference records really comes down to the mountain road trip.

On that trip, the Bruins swept before Colorado and Utah while the Trojans lost to both of those teams.

But what really stands out is the fact that Southern Cal has lost only two games at home all season. The first came against Temple while the second came against Colorado.

Of course, you can throw out the records today and there may not be as much of a home court advantage for Southern Cal as they have had in other Pac-12 home games if Bruin fans show up at the Galen Center today.

The big difference today may be how the Bruins have been playing during their current winning streak. The team has really come together and found a way to keep winning.

They need to do that at least one more time this season and today is that day.
