Rachel Garcia drove in Nickles with a single to center to make it 3-0 and Zoe Shaw drove in Tautalafua with a single to right.
In her second at-bat of the inning, Briana Perez hit a bases clearing double down the right field line while Jordan’s second single of the inning brought her home to make it 8-0, Bruins.
UCLA’s only run of the second was driven in by Garcia’s double to left center that scored Imani Johnson who pinch-ran for Tautalafua after she singled to start the inning.
Briana Perez started another Bruin rally in the third with a single up the middle. She later scored on a single by Nickles. Halstead drove in two more runs with a single up the middle and Malia Quarles drove in one more to give UCLA a 13-0 win.
