How to Watch UCLA Bruins at Southern Cal Trojans: Game Time, TV Schedule, Radio and More

The Bruins travel 12 miles across town today for a game against Southern Cal, which UCLA needs to win if they hope to become bowl-eligible next week.

This afternoon, the UCLA Bruins head across town to face the Southern Cal Trojans. After the Bruins were crushed by Utah, UCLA was eliminated from contention for the Pac-12 South title. Southern Cal, on the other hand, can win the South with a win over UCLA and a loss by Utah either today or next week. So, Utah fans should be rooting for the Bruins today.

Let’s look at the Keys to the Game.

Keys to the Game

1. Stop Kedon Slovis.
If the Bruins want to win today, they are going to have to stop Kedon Slovis. That’s easier said than done given how Slovis has played since taking over after JT Daniels was injured. Given UCLA’s propensity for making backup quarterbacks look like Heisman contenders, the Bruins need to stop him if they hope to win today.

2. Get Another Big Game From Joshua Kelley.
Last year, Joshua Kelley ran all over the Southern Cal defense. It won’t be easy to repeat it, but the Bruins need another big game from Kelley if UCLA expects to win today.

3. Slow Down the Southern Cal Receivers
It may not be possible to completely stop the Southern Cal receivers, but the Bruin secondary will need to at least put in the same kind of effort they did against Colorado’s Laviska Shenault Jr. a few weeks ago.
