#10 UCLA Women’s Basketball Welcomes Colorado to Pauley Pavilion

After dropping both games in Oregon last weekend, the Bruins should be glad to be home.

After losing Monday night’s game to Oregon in overtime, the UCLA Women’s Basketball team faces a quick turnaround by playing a rare Thursday night game against the Colorado Buffaloes.

There are only a handful of teams UCLA would love to play more at home on short rest than Colorado. That’s because the Buffaloes are currently in ninth place in the Pac-12. Of course, playing at home certainly helps too because the Bruins are 42-3 at Pauley since 2015-2016.

The Bruins need to bounce back quickly from their lost weekend in Oregon. UCLA went to Oregon tied with the Ducks and the Cardinal for first place in the Pac-12 and they left tied for third with Oregon State. The Bruins are now two games behind the Ducks, who remain in first, and one game behind second place Stanford.

When the Bruins visited Colorado last month, UCLA destroyed the Buffaloes by 38 points. That’s quite an accomplishment on the road and it’s why I expect an easy Bruin win tonight as well. In fact, it might not even be that close.

Go Bruins!!!
