After the UCLA Men’s Basketball team was swept on the road this weekend, there is really little doubt about which UCLA basketball team is the best basketball team on the UCLA campus. That honor goes to the UCLA Women’s Basketball team which is currently ranked 10th in the country.

Despite completing a home sweep this weekend to close out the regular season, the UCLA Women’s Basketball team has been seeded fourth in the Pac-12 Tournament. As one of the top four seeds, the Bruins have earned a first round bye.

As a result, UCLA will play the winner of the first round game between #5 seed UC Berkeley Golden Bears and #12 seed Washington Huskies on Friday, March 2nd at 2:00 pm PT. The game will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.

As the #4 seed, UCLA is on the same side of the bracket as regular-season champion Oregon Ducks, whom the Bruins lost to twice this season. Assuming UCLA wins on Friday, the Bruins will advance to the Pac-12 Semifinals on Saturday evening against either #1 seed Oregon or the winner of Thursday’s first round game between #8 seed Utah Utes and #9 seed Colorado Buffaloes.
