The San Jose State Spartans are also coming off a quick turnaround, as they just competed over the weekend in a quad meet in Arizona. They scored 195.025, placing them second behind host Arizona. Taylor Chan won the floor with her second consecutive 9.900 this season. She scored a career-best 39.075 in the all-around to finish third and a 9.825 on vault to tie for fourth place. Teammate Ellie Pascoe-Long tied for first on the vault with a 9.850. In the final rotation, the beam team scored a 48.875, the second-highest beam score this season.

Tonight is Senior Night for the gymnastics team. UCLA’s senior gymnasts Rechelle Dennis, Napualani Hall, JaNay Honest, Christine Peng-Peng Lee and Sonya Meraz and managers Karli Dugas and Melissa Metcalf will be honored in postmeet ceremonies.
