WATCH: UCLA’s Ohashi and Ross Score “Perfect 10” on Floor and on Bars

Katelyn Ohashi’s new floor routine is going viral, but it wasn’t UCLA’s only “Perfect 10” on Saturday.

The 2019 UCLA gymnastics season started just ten days ago. While senior Katelyn Ohashi decided to retire her Michael Jackson-inspired floor routine from last season, which turned her into an NCAA Champion as well as a viral sensation after she scored a “Perfect 10” with it, it doesn’t mean that she isn’t a master of the floor.

On Saturday night at the Collegiate Challenge in Anaheim, Ohashi’s new routine earned her another “Perfect 10” and leaves us wondering if another NCAA individual championship may not be too far behind.

Watch Katelyn’s routine and decide for yourself.

But, it wasn’t the only “Perfect 10” for the Bruins on Saturday. That’s because junior Kyla Ross did it first on the bars. Here’s Kyla’s bars routine:

While Ross scored highest on the bars, she also won the all-around with a score of 39.700, after scoring a 9.875 on the vault, a 9.900 on the beam, and a 9.925 on the floor.

Oh yeah and, as far as the meet itself goes, the Bruins took first with a team score of 197.700.

Miss Val’s Farewell Tour continues next Monday afternoon at 2 pm when the Bruins host Arizona State in a Martin Luther King Day matinee at Pauley Pavilion.

Go Bruins!!!
