This afternoon’s game between the UCLA Bruins and the UC Berkeley Golden Bears looks to be a high scoring affair. The Golden Bears come into the game with the best goals per game average in the Pac-12 with 1.9. At the same time, their goals against average is the worst in the conference at 1.8.
That would be why UC Berkeley has had a mediocre 4-4-2 season so far even though they are led by Christian Thierjung who leads the conference in both points with 17 and goals with 8.
When you match up the Bears against the Bruins, it looks like a UCLA victory, at least on paper. The Bruins are averaging 1.7 goals per game while only allowing 0.87 goals against. And, while averages don’t truly translate into success on the pitch, it would seem to point to a 2-1 Bruins’ win today. We’ll see if that happens.
In the meantime, here’s how to watch, stream and follow today’s game.
