It’s “Double Championship Sunday!” Today, not one, but two UCLA teams will play for the NCAA national championship in their respective sport.
First up, at 9:00 am PT, it’s the “Battle For 114” when the UCLA Women’s Soccer team looks to avenge their regular season loss to the Stanford Cardinal in the NCAA title game.
Yes, that’s right. With both UCLA and Stanford tied with 113 NCAA titles each, the winners of this game will earn their school’s tie-breaking 114th NCAA title.
If it is possible to prefer a win over Stanford in this game over a win against Southern Cal in the Men’s Water Polo final, I think I would rather win this game because it would put UCLA back in front of Stanford in the NCAA title count.
Thankfully, I don’t have to pick between them and I hope the Bruins win both games!
Here’s how to watch, follow, and stream the “Battle For 114” Women’s College Cup Final.
