Today, the UCLA women’s soccer team hosts the first game of another soccer doubleheader at Wallis Annenberg Stadium. The Bruins will face off against the Washington State Cougars.

Last Time Out

On Thursday, the UCLA women’s soccer team played the Washington Huskies. For most of the game, the score remained tied 0-0. Finally, in the 87th minute, sophomore midfielder Maricarmen Reyes broke through and scored the only goal of the game.

Backup Bruin goalkeeper Lauren Brzykcy earned her second clean sheet of the season. She made a big save on a free kick by Washington, which kept the game scoreless until Reyes scored the game-winner.

Washington State Cougars

While the Cougars have played well so far this season, their three conference losses have all come against the better teams in the Pac-12.

That said, I don't see the Cougars winning this one. I'm predicting a 2-1 Bruin win.

Go Bruins!!
