This afternoon, the UCLA women’s soccer team will play their final road game of the regular season when they face Oregon at 1 pm PT. While today’s game won’t be on TV, it will be available for streaming.

Last Time Out

On Thursday, the Bruins won their third straight when they crushed Oregon State, 4-0.

Chloe Castenada scored a pair of first half goals to give UCLA a 2-0 lead at the half. Her first goal came in the fifteenth minute on a pass from Ashley Sanchez for her first goal of the season. Her second came at exactly the 37th minute mark. On that play, Sanchez started it with a pass to Maricarmen Reyes who then passed to Castenada. Castenada then drilled it past the Beavers goalkeeper for the score.

In the second half, Reyes added an insurance goal in the 72nd minute on a pass from Castenada. Less than three minutes later, the Beavers put one into their own net, making the final 4-0.

Teagan Micah held the Beavers scoreless for her sixth clean sheet of the season.

Oregon Ducks

The Ducks don’t appear to be a very good team. Oregon has won just one of their first nine conference games so far this season. Their lone Pac-12 win came last Sunday against the Arizona State Sun Devils, who the Bruins defeated 4-1 at the beginning of October.

So, the bottom line here is that today’s game should be another Bruin victory. I’m going to predict another big win by UCLA. UCLA 3, Ducks 0.

Go Bruins!!!
