The UCLA women’s soccer team hosts the Florida Gators this evening at 5 pm PT in the final game of this weekend’s Florida vs. California event.

Last Time Out

THe Bruins took on the #1 Florida State Seminoles Friday and UCLA won the game, 2-1.

Jessie Fleming scored both Bruin goals in the game. Her first goal came in the 14th minute and her second came in the 35th.

UCLA kept Florida State off the board until the 76th minute when the top-ranked Seminoles scored their only goal of the game.

Overall, the Bruins did a good job of holding the Seminole offense in check. The Bruins took 12 shots on goal to just 5 by Florida State. Teagan Micah had two saves for UCLA.

Florida Gators

The unranked Gators dropped their game to Southern Cal on Friday by a score of 3-1. It was Florida’s first loss of the season after the winning their first two games.

Outlook

The Bruins should be able to win tonight’s game pretty easily. Look for a 3-0 shutout, but it could get uglier than that.

Go Bruins!
