UCLA Women’s Water Polo Team Seeded Third in NCAA Tournament

After finishing third in the MPSF Tournament, the Bruins will face Michigan in the NCAA Tournament.

The UCLA women’s water polo team has earned the #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament after finishing third in the MPSF Tournament.

As a result, the Bruins will face the Michigan Wolverines in an NCAA quarterfinal game at 5:15 pm PT on Friday, May 10th. UCLA defeated the Wolverines in both of the games the teams played this season. The Bruins won the first game 9-7 during the UC Santa Barbara Invitiational in January and later won the second game 15-5 as a part of the Barbara Kalbus Invitational at UC Irvine.

The winner of UCLA’s quarterfinal game will face the winner of Game 3 between Stanford and either Pacific or Cal Lutheran on Saturday, May 11th.

Stanford will host all of this year’s tournament games.
