Last night's Pac-12 opener only lasted four innings and change thanks to the fog. It crept in over Jackie Robinson Stadium and left a cloud of white over the ballpark, which makes it tough to see a white baseball. Finally the umpires and coaches came to their senses, suspended the game and left us with a game and a half to play today.
UCLA trails UW 2-0 in the fourth inning, with one out and a man on second. That's where they will pick up today, and Cody Poteet will take over on the mound.
In the second game, which will begin 30 minutes after the end of the first one, Nick Vander Tuig will get the nod for the Bruins. He's 2-2 with a 2.42 ERA on the season so he hasn't had much luck. Meanwhile UW's starter Austin Voth is also 2-2, but with a 4.74 ERA
