Thanks to Oregon St.'s win today, UCLA will not win a third consecutive Pac-12 title,Thanks to Oregon St.'s win today, UCLA will not win a third consecutive Pac-12 title, but a national seed is still up for grabs. If the Bruins want a chance at that national seed, though, they will need a series win over Stanford to make it happen and after a loss last night, that means winning the last two games of the season.
UCLA will send Nick Vander Tuig to the bump tonight with the hope that the sterling junior can get them the first of those two wins. The right-hander is 10-3 with a 1.96 ERA on the year and will be opposed by John Hochstatter, who is 3-3 with a 3.65 ERA.
Tonight's game is on the Pac-12 Network so tune in at 7 p.m. for first pitch. If you don't get the channel, follow along onGameTracker. This is your open thread so have at it as the Bruins try to get even in Palo Alto.
