UCLA vs. CSUN Tuesday Baseball Thread: Bruins Welcome Matadors To Westwood

UCLA played with fire last weekend against Utah, but they came through time and time again when they needed to and came away with a series sweep. The Bruins are just No. 18 in the RPI, though, which is strong, but not high enough to guarantee a regional host spot, which means they need to keep getting wins, including tonight against Cal St. Northridge.

Cody Poteet will take the ball tonight and hope to build on his brilliant start a week ago. He enters tonight 3-4 with a 4.18 ERA, but he's coming off of three straight strong outings and the Bruins will hope he can make it four tonight. Brycen Rutherford will get the nod for Northridge and brings a 1-1 record and 3.51 ERA with him.
