UCLA vs. Washington St. Saturday Baseball Thread: Trying To Get Even

New, 6 comments

Friday didn't go so well for UCLA. Will their offense wake up today?

The weekend didn't start off great for UCLA and, unfortunately, it was a similar story. The offense went MIA, wasting a solid pitching performance in a 2-0 loss to Washington St. Now they fin themselves down in the series and in need of consecutive wins to take the three-game set.

UCLA will hope that Grant Watson can get them back on track, which is a good bet. The junior won Pac-12 Pitcher of the Week for his eight inning, two-hit, one-run stint last weekend so he's coming in with plenty of momentum. Wazzu will counter with Joe Pistorese, who is 1-0 with a 2.54 ERA this season.

If you're not out at Jackie Robinson Stadium, listen in live on the digital radio with John Ramey and Tim Wilhelm calling the game. As is always the case, you can also follow along on Gametracker. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. PST.

This is your sunny Sunday afternoon baseball game thread, so fire away with your comments, observations, and notes as our Bruins look to get even with Wazzu,
