Ty Moore Joins the UCLA-Pittsburgh Pipeline

Moore joins teammate Kevin Kramer and former Bruin Gerrit Cole in the Pirates organization.

Today is the third and final day of the 2015 MLB Draft and the Pittsburgh Pirates seem to be making UCLA their Pac-12 farm team.

In addition to having drafted Gerrit Cole a few years ago and Kevin Kramer on Monday, the Pirates drafted Bruin LF Ty Moore today in the 12th round.

In 2016, Moore led the Bruins with a ,342 batting average and 51 runs batted in while slugging 6 home runs, 12 doubles and a triple.

Congratulations, Ty!
