The San Francisco Giants have drafted UCLA senior lefthander Grant Watson in the 16th round of the MLB Draft.

Watson was the Saturday guy of this year's starting rotation with fellow draftees James Kaprielian and Cody Poteet. This season, he posted a 2.30 ERA and struck out 66 batters while walking only 21. He finished the year with an 8-5 record and a career record of 30-19.
