The New York Yankees selected James Kaprielian with the 16th pick of the 1st round of today's MLB First Year Player Draft. In what will likely be his final season with the Bruins, Kaprielian won 10 and lost 4 while holding opponents to a 2.03 ERA.

James led the team and the Conference with 114 strikeouts and only gave up 33 walks. He threw 106-2/3rds innings and held opponents to a .226 batting average.
