The 2017 MLB Draft kicks off tonight at 4pm PT with Round 1 and continues through Wednesday.
Not only are some current Bruins eligible for this draft, but, like last year, Bruin recruits who are in high school are also eligible.
UCLA’s Griffin Canning will probably be the current Bruin player who gets drafted highest.
The biggest question, though going into tonight is: Will UCLA’s draft class get decimated again like it did last year? Also, will an MLB team or teams use John Savage’s recruiting work as their own personal scouting department like the Phillies did last year?
The First Round and the Competitive Balance Round A will be televised by MLB Network while the entire draft will be streamed on MLB.com.
Best of luck to Griffin and all current Bruins tonight and in the coming days.
Go Bruins!!!
