Will Tony Parker be able to dominate a small Cal State San Marcos Team?
Will Tony Parker be able to dominate a small Cal State San Marcos Team?
Richard Mackson-US PRESSWIRE

#22 UCLA plays former Bruin De’End Parker and Cal State San Marcos tonight at 7:30 p.m.  The game will be on the PAC 12 network with Ernie clueless Kent doing the color commentary.  UCLA beat San Marcos 83-60 last season in a game that was close in the first half.  However, last week San Marcos played San Diego State tough for a half by making a number of threes.

The UCLA San Marcos connections do not end with Parker as San Marcos coach Jim Saia was an assistant under Steve Lavin at UCLA.  Travis Wear will definitely not play and Wanaah Bail is unlikely to play although he is getting close to playing.  The official preview is here.  Another preview is here.  Some other notes are here.

Fun stat if UCLA pulls Norman Powell for Zach Lavine and keeps the rest of the starting lineup, UCLA's front court will all be taller than the entire San Marcos team and their backcourt will be within an inch of the tallest starter and as tall as San Marcos' four.

Go Bruins!
