Bruin Bites: UCLA Basketball’s Value Plummets Under Dan Guerrero

New, 31 comments

Notes on UCLA basketball.

Andrew Fielding-USA TODAY Sports

Three quick shots on UCLA basketball for this Tuesday before the Sweet-16.

Bruins are going to take on Kentucky in Chicago the weekend before this Christmas. It will part of one-half of a college basketball double-header which will feature North Carolina-Ohio State in the other matchup. This is not really news to us but good for SEO overlords who can have fun with UCLA, Kentucky and North Carolina in the headlines.

Forbes.com has released their list of college basketball's most valuable teams in 2014. Dan Guerrero's UCLA basketball program is not in the top-20 lost. Even a program like Minnesota is in that list. Dayton, Marquette and Missouri were considered to be the "runners up." UCLA with it's empty and stale Pauley Pavilion, and Bryce Alford leading the point next season - didn't make the cut. Nice work Chianti.

And, in case you missed it from our fanshot section - Steve Alford's idol is once again talking about rape.

Go Bruins!!!
