Ryan Kartje, the UCLA beat writer for the Orange County Register sat down for an exclusive interview with Alford. So far Alford and the UCLA athletic department appears to only grant interviews to select reporters haven't showed much interest in asking the hard questions.
The interview will be published in the OC Register, which means except for few thousand old Trojan fans in Orange County not a lot of people will get to read it. Kartje decided to tease out few tweets including the following two regarding Alford's #trickster:
Alford is obviously comfortable in Bryce taking over as a starter, but said he & Isaac Hamilton will share PG duties/playing off the ball.

Alford said that Bryce has worked a lot on his strength, adding weight. Added that he expects Bryce to be one of this team's leaders.

There shouldn't be any doubt left about how Salford is planning to gift Balford the starting point guard slot at UCLA. It also shouldn't be that difficult for savvy Bruin basketball fans why Salford has completely failed in recruiting an elite point guard since he has arrived in Westwood or hasn't showed much interest in it this off-season. Good times.
Go Bruins!
